Here are my notes from Li.Ruigangs salon visit on 2/26/16:
I met him at Washington Plaza.
He toured the salon, met Carrie the manager and Cheryl one of the stylists.
He had a haircut so that he could experience the service that we offer.
We discussed the following based on his questions:
Status of licenses into his name from previous owner.
Guest count and how many are repeat. How often guests return for another service.
Sales trends and when we thought we would hit breakeven
Showed him current advertising and gave him a copy of the service menu.
Shared with him about the Open House event that we just had.
Talked about the upcoming Chamber events that we would like to do including a ribbon cutting ceremony.
We then went to the Chula Vista location to see the construction progress.
He wanted to know when it would open. I explained that we are waiting for more of the center to be leased and other tenants to start construction as well as the landlord completing the renovation of the outside of the center. I said that May or June would be a good plan. That gives time to get Washington Plaza to break even.
He agreed that this was a good plan.
He told me that he was happy with the way the salons were being managed.
