The US is on track to issue 10,000 investor-based green cards this year – a number that has dwarfed the number of just a few hundred from around 4 years ago. So where do all of these new “soon-to-be” Americans like to flock to?
These investors are placing their bets in the local economy there, which was sorely needed after the real estate crash a few years ago. It is reported that these foreign nationals are investing in new casino projects in some strange, formerly run-down, parts of “Sin City”. Some are even investing in a Broadway-style stage show named Panda coming to Sheldon Adelson’s Palazzo Hotel and Casino.
I have a question. It’s great that these investors love Las Vegas, but why do they feel the need to invest there? Isn’t there enough money from those casino moguls to fund these projects? To my knowledge, average Americans are not in the big game of these types of investments because they don’t see the value. If they did, wouldn’t they have invested first?
Do you want to know what Americans invest in? FRANCHISES! Foreign investors should be looking at this proven business model for their EB-5 immigration needs.
Stage shows about pandas and nightclub-themed hotels come and go. I say the best bet is investing on Main Street USA, not The Strip. And the best way, in my opinion, to create jobs on Main Street is through franchising.
