The North Carolina region of FranVest’s Fantastic Sams salons donated over $20,000 to Dukes Childrens Hospital. The region also donated a portion of all hair cuts over the same day to the hospital.
Duke Children’s Hospital is a self-contained “hospital within a hospital” on the fifth floor of Duke University Hospital. It contains state-of-the-art pediatric and neonatal intensive care units. They provides an attractive, family-friendly setting for a variety of specialized, state-of-the-art pediatric services.
“At Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, we are committed to the philosophy of Patient-and Family-Centered Care (PFCC), and this guides our everyday interactions. It also is the framework for our planning and program development. We believe that when healthcare providers, patients, and families are brought together in daily, ongoing partnerships—sharing information, making decisions, participating in care and exchanging ideas—the results include better outcomes, higher quality, and improved safety.”
-Ann M. Reed, MD Physician-in-Chief, Duke Children’s Chair, Department of Pediatrics
The Fantastic Sams franchise believes in the hospital and its mission to assist children and their families. It’s encouraging to see a franchise be able to give back to the people who live within their community. Over the last few moths the region has seen excellent growth, especially due to the addition of several salons that are popping up all over thanks to FranVest’s investors.
Each salon that is added to the region from FranVest is its own direct managed asset. Each investor starts out by purchasing two salons and then builds the third once the reserve is built up. These investors are participating in the EB-5 visa program that allows qualified immigrants the ability to invest at minimum $500,000 and employ at least 10 employees for 5 years.
The North Carolina region of Fantastic Sams receives franchise royalties from each store within the area.
