A group from FranVest and the FBA recently attended the International Franchise Association’s Annual Convention in New Orleans. Sabrina Wall, Executive Director of the FBA and FranVest, and her team of business development specialists met with a wide variety of franchisors over the course of the four-day event. Many convention attendees sought out the FranVest “Give Me 5!” booth, whose banner posed the question “Can you handle 100 new locations this year where you need them?”
The FBA’s reputation preceded them, and with interest in immigration at an all-time high right now, the FranVest America Program was an attractive draw to franchisors interested in onboarding franchisees with private equity. The IFA even requested another article for an upcoming issue of their magazine, Franchising World, highlighting an EB-5 success story. The trip was capped off by a visit to VooDoo BBQ, a popular franchise that was started right there in New Orleans. The group enjoyed the fabulous local cuisine and were on hand while the owners were interviewed for Franchise Times magazine.
